I have the option of living in either Wuhan or Wuxi...does anyone have any suggestions which of the two cities would be a better place to move?

I prefer Wuxi best for its comfortable climate. Wuhan is so hot in summer that I can't bear!

Well, first, it depends on what kind of offers or opportunities await you in both cities.
Wuhan is the huge capital city, more opportunities for jobs, Wuxi also develops quickly but compares with Wuhan, it is a better place (water town) for retirement.

WUXISTARBUCKS was right about weather, Wuhan is extremely hot in summer.

I have been working in Wuxi for 2 weeks. 1st week was hot, 2nd week was great. slight drizzle now. I like it so far. I might be here for the rest of the year.

I went into Home Mart. I should have brought my dictionary. I could not communicate although I did not try very hard. There are a lot of people who can speak english or a little english.
