When you travelling in China,even in Beijing,you will find some little beasts on the old architecture,do you know who are they???

The last pic is about one of Dragon's sons,it is called Chi Wen(鴟吻),it is loving look into the distance from a high place!
And the Dragon has nine sons:
Bi Xi(赑屃),usually,there was a stele on its back,I am sure you have seen it when you are in China!

Tao Tie(饕餮)：It good at eating and drinking,because it can drink a lot,you can find it on some bridges!

Ya Zi(睚眦):It loves killing or fighting,so you can find it on some enginery,for example,a sword!

Bi An(狴犴):It hates the malefactors,so you can find it on the gate of prisons!

Suan Ni(狻猊):It loves smoke and fire,so you can find it on a censer in some temples!

There are other different sayings about dragon's nine sons. Such as people say 麒麟 qi2lin2 is one of dragon's sons.
