"One normally puts his claw on a baby lion - maybe it is the female lion?" ,"The other one puts his claw on a globe - symbol of power?"

Absolutely!:)

Hey ELCABRON,
It's better to put two lions both sides of your gate/door, with one keeping his mouth open and another shut.

to CALI:
Yeah, they have the right size - maybe nobody can enter my door anymore but the lions are great;-)

To RITA:
Why should one mouth be shut, the other open? Is there another reason for that besides male/female status?
That was just a joke last time - it is my generation that is raised under womens liberation times;-)

Some lions also keep a globe or a little ball in their mouths.....

Hi ELCABRON,

I know you were joking, and I like your humour, very, very much, keep it up..., we all like it:-)

Now the reason, have you noticed that those kinds of lions are usually used by banks - opening mouth means to accept the fortunes and closing mouth means keep the fortunes inside. So, you are rich!!!

Be humourous!!

Ah, cool idea with the money.

There are also those (often) golden cats with electric arms in shops. I heard with the moving arm they are supposed to attract customers and bring money into the shop, like pulling the money out of the customers pocket;-)

To Rita and Elcabron:
Rita, your explain is reasonble, and I found some banks and securities use Pi1 Xiu1(貔貅)at the two sides of their gate.Because it only has month,no arse,it only can eat much money, and doesn't disgorge anything:-)
