It is different from anywhere!In some places,it is held in the morning,some in the noon,and some in the afternoon!
And I have attened a wedding in Sept. in Guangdong,and they held it in the night:-)

California...do they wear the red costune in real weddings? I usually see them wearing such costume in the movies. How much money should one give as a gift?

Friends of mine, a mixed couple, they did both Chinese and Western style...really funny.

But the man should not dress in white - white is for the untouched spotless virgin....well than actually the bride could not wear white, too, but for the look, you know;-)

usually they have to change their grande toilettes during the feast , the traditional style of cheong-sam,western style ~~

You can order companies which do western marriages. They have western actors, who do the ministers job, but the brides tears are real...sooo romantic!
