"I want a cup of coffe made in a proper coffee pot
you can believe it or not
I just want a cup of coffe made in a proper coffee pot
tin coffe pot or iron coffee pot
there is no use to me
if I can't have a cup of coffe made in a proper copper coffee pot
I'll have a cup of tea "

do you have any to share ?

Forum - This is where you can ask the questions on your mind before you set out for China.

that is to say ,now that I am in China already ,I should not ask any questions on my mind ?

This forum is ok as it is. A little bit of other subjects make the forum fun to participate. Anyway, there is an end to how many serious questions about China that can be asked. But if somebody asked about China travels, we can and will help. Don't worry let's make the forum lively!!

Exactly! Give better tips instead of complaining. The people who complain most are the people with the fewest helpful tips!

You know what I like about this forum ?
It's some of the unusual topics that are totally unrelated to travel in China.
But they are not unrelated to living and for some of us working in China.

If you don't like the direction a thread is heading you have the choice to ignore it.

Here's a couple of my favourite 'tongue twisters' which I use often with students of all ages who incidently love them.

“Betty Botter bought some butter,
but, she said, the butter’s bitter,
if I put it in my batter
it will make my batter bitter,
but a bit of better butter
is sure to make my batter better.
So Betty bought a bit of butter,
better than her bitter butter
and she put it in her batter
and her batter was not bitter
So ‘twas better Betty Botter
bought a bit of better butter.”

And my favourite!!!!

'What noise annoys an oyster?
Why any noise annoys an oyster
but a noisy noise annoys an oyster most'

There are a few websites that you can find them at or post new ones to if you're interested. Some are long, some short, some silly, some Christmas, you name it there is something for everyone and good fun for learning any language.

Keep them coming and maybe we could learn a few Chinese ones while we are on this topic!!!!!!

Conny ???? Do you have a couple?????
