What is the best way from Yangshuo to Kunming?

bus or train?

How much are one-way tix and where should they be purchased?

Hey there,

I just recently went along this route. The easiest and cheapest way is to leave youngzhou in the mornign around 8 or 9, take the mini van to guillin, from guillin take the 4 hour bus journey to nanning, from nanning take the sleeper train to kunming, the train costs 170, the bus costs 80, and the mini van is 10 or cheaper. A full day of travelling but after the heat of Nanning you will feel refreshed to be in Kunming. Jump on bus #2 for camila hotel 30 a night, or number 3 for The hump (much better) 25 a night.
