In China, farmers want more sons because they believe only 'son' is the real offspring. Daughters will finally become another family's daughter-in-law! As the old saying goes, more sons, more happiness. What's more, 'sons' are more helpful in farming. So many farmers like to have more children.
And then, more children, more burdens.
