travel to Kunming from Maisai, Thailand.

I would like information on travel by land or boat from North Thailand ( Golden Triangle) to Kunming. Especialy want to know estimated costs and how many days of travel. Specifically want to know how to get from Jing Hong to Kunming, bus or boat? and cost?

there are several buses from jinghong to kunming everyday. just go to the jinghong bus station and ask for bus to kunming. it's easy and should be around Rmb100 or less. check out www.gokunming.com for more info of kunming or send email to their editor for enquiry. they're really helpful.
