three gorges, huangshan, to shanghai trip

i am currently based in shanghai and i want to visit the threee gorges site and huangshan in anhui, can anyone give me advice on how to go about it?

Not sure if you mean to do Huangshan AND the 3 Gorges in 1 trip from Shanghai, or separately as 2 trips. Assuming the latter, take the N518/N519 train (2202-0850) from Shanghai and N517/N520 train (2233-0946) back to Shanghai from Huangshan.
