When is the best time to visit Huangshan?

The best time to visit Jiuzhaigou is during Autumn. Can anyone advise me when is the best time to visit Huangshan? I hope to visit Huangshan next year. Thanks.

Hi Sayhitoant,
I asked a friend who was local, she said every season in Huangshan was unique, different attractions for different seasons. Wintertime is her favorite, especially after snow which needs some luck.

Indded anytime is the best time to visit Huangshan. It depends on what u are looking for - maybe for a start try early winter. The 1st fall of snow partly covering the mountain is quite an awesome sight.

Yes,I agree with Rita,you will have different feeling in different time!!!
I also agree with Pinetree,because I love winter and snow,how beautiful it is!!!

winter is the most economical season to visit Huangshan ,you may probably see the sea of cloud more often than in other seasons ,and the crystal snowy scenery is marvelous and unique

Thank you everyone for sharing your info and experience on Huangshan.

I read from book that says the beauty of Mount Huangshan lies in its "four wonders":

1) Pine trees with shapely foliage
2) Rocks in a hundred and one images
3) Sea of clouds
4) Hot springs

I'm more keen in seeing sea of clouds. Hence, I hope to visit Huangshan during winter time as some of you have mentioned that there is a higher chance of seeing sea of cloud in winter.
