Chinese generally avoid keeping cats as pets. This is because Chinese believe that when children breathe in the cats fur it will caused them to have asthma. Is this a fact or is it a myth?

That remind me a movie about the battle between cats and dogs, but I'm not sure about the name. Maybe Cats and Dogs or so.

Usually Chinese people consider cats as the representatives of the double-hcanted or the treacherous. While dogs are considered as the representatives of the allegiant. I'm not sure about the reason. In addition there is a Chinese saying: 儿不嫌母丑,狗不嫌家贫。It means that children never mind that whether their mothers are beautiful not, they still love them; dogs never mind that whether their owners are rich or not, they still live with them.
