| Depending of course on what kind of vegetarian you are, you can find suitable food almost anywhere in Dalian. I survive on feasts of eggplant, spinach, cabbages, tofu, egg & tomato, toffee braised sweet potato, pickled vegetables, mushroom hotpots... come to think of it, I'm pretty well fed here. It's easy to have instructions written for you too if you don't speak Mandarin. In passing, can anyone recommend some favourite Chinese dishes suitable for non-meat eaters? |

| my preference : 1.Stir-fried romaine lettuce in oyster sauce(hao you sheng cai ) 2.Stir-fried corn with pine nuts (song ren yu mi) 3.fried cauliflower (chao xi lan hua ) 4.cabbage heart with mushrooms(xiang gu cai xin ) |
