Do most dance clubs and bars have coat checks?

If you mean a place to put your jacket - yes, not all but many clubs.
If you mean a dress code - no.
Or do you mean getting checked at the entrance?

Yes, I meant checking my heavy jacket into a closet or room (with an attendant) so I don't have to carry it around a bar or a club.

Unfortunately, most clubs do not have closets for your coats. Some do have but the availability is quite limited.
For gals, u are expected to wear as little as possible when visiting clubs/pubs - even in winter.
