| Travel from Airport to Hotel | |

 | Hi, I am booking a hotel in Guangzhou and see that there are hotels near the airport (approx. 7K) and hotels near downtown (approx. 37K). I think I would like to be downtown so if I have some free time I am close to malls or sites to visit. If I stay downtown what will travel cost to and from the airport, how long will it take and what is the easest and best method of transporation? Thanks |

| There are 8 airport bus lines from New Baiyun Airport to the downtown,about 28km.Cost 13---36RMB. |

| Thanks very much for the quick reply! Could you tell me one more thing...I have an option of a flight which arrives rather late. About 10:30pm. Do you know if these buses run at that time? Thanks again |

| Yes,they have.Some lines last for 22:30pm,and some lines last for the last flight!So I think you can find and get easily!!!But I don't know where is your hotel,so I can't tell you very exactly!!! |

| I am considering a few hotels including -Landmark Canton No. 8, Qiao Guang Road, Haizhu Square, Guangzhou -White Swan 1 SOUTH STREET, SHAMIAN ISLAND, GUANGZHOU (although this one can be quite expensive) |

But I think White Swan Hotel is best,and near the Pearl River,very very very beautiful in the night,and Shamian island is really worth to visit,very quietly and recherche:-)  |
