![]() | I'm having trouble getting to the bottom how to secure a tourist visa for China from within the UK. Basically, I think I have everything I need (passport, app. form, invite from China etc) but am unsure as to whether I can actually apply for this by post rather then personally visiting the embassy in London. The Chinese embassy details on the website appear to contradictory (I.E saying that you have to go in person, but then giving details on how to apply by post!). I would much prefer to apply by post and I have about 10 weeks before I'm due to go. Can anybody help?! |

![]() | I think what they said is right. You should go the embassy in person for the first and very important interview in which they will ask something about yourself, which I think nobody can do it for you, so you must go there in person. And after that, you can give your personal and concerned details and document by mail. So don't worry about that: ) |
