It's too far to be done by bus, that's why! Go by train, if you aren't flying.

Guilin -- Hangzhou:
K582/K583 (0227--0351) 25h24min

Guilin -- Hangzhou East:
K150 (0752--0404) 20h12min
1980 (1710--1351) 20h41min
K538 (1734--1306) 19h32min

Guilin North -- Hangzhou East:
K182 (1201--0921) 21h20min

Prices range from 161 RMB for the cheapest hard seat to 511 RMB for the most expensive soft sleeper. Price depends on your choice of train and seat/sleeper/bunk.

Jingzhou (荆州) on the bus schedules usually refers to the old part of the town. If you're going to the new part, it's called Shashi (沙市).
My information might be outdated, but hope it helps.
Buses leave from Changsha West long-distance bus station (长沙汽车西站). Departure at 1010 to Jingzhou; departures at 0800, 1000, 2000 and 2130 to Shashi -- the night departures are sleeper buses.
Looks like there're no afternoon departures, sorry. :(
