| Would advise flying Shanghai/Hangzhou <--> Guilin as it's too far by overland transport. Hangzhou <--> Huangshan best done by long-distance bus. Shanghai <--> Hangzhou best done by D train, though long-distance bus is also available. Shanghai <--> Huangshan can be done by long-distance bus, overnight train, or flight. |

It costs 30 RMB. Then take subway line 2 to Hongqiao Railway station. It costs 3 yuan and takes about 3 minutes. There you can take D trains to Shaoxing. | Ahem, why not just take the metro line 2 directly from Pudong airport to Shanghai Hongqiao train station? That would be easier and cheaper. |
