i want to know how much it cost from beijing to shanghai return on a train someone said it cost around 400 yuan one way ticket from beijing to shanghai is it rite

As the whole trip will take about 12-13hours, you'd better take the sleeper.
Hard sleeper:
upper: RMB306
middle: RMB317
lower: RMB327

Soft:
upper: RMB478
lower: RMB499

This is the price just for one way ticket. And the same price for return.
