I suggest you visit Hangzhou, very different from Xi'an and Beijing.

Hangzhou is well-known for its charming natural beauty. When Marco Polo came to Hangzhou in the 13th century he gave it a high praise that "it is the most beautiful and elegant city in the world".

The most fascinating scenery is the West Lake(xihu).

Moreover, it is very convenient from Beijing to Hangzhou.

I believe you will like it.
Have a nice journey!

Thank you so much for your reply.
What is the most convenience way to travel from Hangzhou to Shanghai? By plane or by train?

I prefer train!
It would only take you two hours, and cost RMB47 for soft seat (RMB 30 for hard seat). And to take train is very convenient. Also you can enjoy scene outside the window, and communicate with local. This may be the very experience for you :)
