What time should I arrive in Chengdu?

Hi guys. I am planning to arrive at Chengdu from Guangzhou. I want to know if it is better to arrive at Chengdu in the morning or at night. If I arrive in the morning, is there anything I can see or would I have enough time to tour anything for the day? Or should I just arrive at night, to prepare for next day to see pandas, leshan, etc.

If you are very eager to see the cute panda bear, I suggest you arrive in Chengdu at night, because the best time for seeing panda is forenoon. At that time, panda is awake and energetic while afternoon is the sleeping time for them. Also you can make a full preparation for the 2nd day's trip.
