Hi,

I am gg to Shanghai as well in Christmas. Also considering Hangzhou/Suzhou/Xitang/Zhouzhuang. Just wish to know if I should avoid any of these places because of the weather or what?

Avoid Zhouzhuang unless you're interested in seeing one of the worst tourist circus in China. If you want to see Chinese gardens, there're enough in Xitang and Tongli to satisfy your curiosity, you don't need to go to Suzhou for those. My favourite attractions in Suzhou are Tiger Hill and Coiled Gate (Pan Men). Feel free to drop me a message if you need more help/have any questions.
