 | Hi,guys, I know most of them have been to colorful Yunnan,and I am sure that you have different,exciting and nice feeling of it! But I just heard that most tourist have been to Kunming,Dali,Lijiang,Xishuangbanna...... Doese anyone has been to the other places?For example Honghe,Tengchong or Liuku???...... I have a plan to travel in the whole Yunnan next year,and really want to go to the minority places and live with them one or two days,especially,Hani,Lisu,Dulong,Bao'an,Jinuo,Bulang,Tibet...... Every suggestions and recommends are appreciated!Thank a lot! california  |

| dont forget to include zhongdian in your itinerary. it is lovely now,but dont go during winter time. check out the festivals of the different ethnic groups and try to co-incide your trips with the festivals and you will see more of the minorities culture.  |

| Thanks a lot,Ethniceast! Yes,as your advice,I will go to Zhongdian and Deqin!I have saw your pics of Nujiang,and it is so exciting when they crossing the river!I also very go there! I plan to go there in next May or June,is it a good time???  |

| i guess may and june will be more bearable in terms of the weather for nujiang and zhongdian. but you will miss out on certain natural phenomena at deqin. have fund, i mean fun....  |

| Hi California, I know you will probably travel to Yunnan in the summer and we may even meet you there but I saw tonight on the news that the Yunnan Govt is promoting Zhongdian and Deqin in the Winter 'cos it's less crowded and still pretty beautiful in the mountains. And for Ethniceast What is QUOTE <but you will miss out on certain natural phenomena at deqin.> ? I'm interested in knowing what will be missed if you visit in May or June? Thanks |

| Hi,Jabarootoo, Sorry for my late reply,and very happy to hear that you aslo want to travel in Yunnan! Actually,I know yunnan is an amazing and polychrome world,and when I working,I have no free time to go there!So when I decide to go there,I want to know the whole yunnan,including the scenery,history,nationalities...... So maybe it is about 20 to 30 days!I hope I can meet you there! california  |
