The mighty Yellow River is the cradle of Chinese civilisation. But sadly it is sometimes referred to as the river of tears. Flooding is a major problems. I have seen much efforts being done to prevent disasters from happening. Let's hope Huanghe is a River of Hope because many people depend on this mighty river for their survival.

You know,China,Egypt,India and Babylon(Old Iraq)as the most oldest civilized countries in the world!They all originated from the sides of river!and Yellow River for China,Nile for Egypt,Ganges for India,Tuphrates and Tigris for Babylon......

River is very importand for these countries,yes,you are right!It also took flood to them,but because of the river,they become stronger and stronger,and thanks for the mother river,and protect her for ever!
