I think most western travellers will vist China only once in their lifetime.

They will usually go for a trip of a few weeks and cover as many provinces as possible.

Is this the trend?

Your post sounds critical of this. Is that the case? If so, please describe what you see wrong with this "trend".

Many "western" travellers save money for an entire lifetime to go to China for a few weeks. A ticket to Beijing costs roughly $800-$1,000. That is not small change to most people. Some people borrow money and even go broke just so they can see what China is like. Sometimes a "few weeks" is enough for someone who has waited a lifetime to see the riches of China.

Many people have children they need to feed (and they do this by WORKING) so they are not able to go to China many times over and over.

Why do you feel the need to constantly catagorize the "western" travellers and western culture? Do your posts have factual basis?

Instead of bombarding the forum with needless posts, please think about them beforehand.
