Here are the real facts*:

"A total of 46.4 billion packs of instant ramen are eaten per year in over 80 countries around the world. China is the biggest consumer: The Chinese eat 15.9 billion packs annually. Indonesia follows at 9.2 billion, and Japan is third, consuming 5.2 billion servings. Besides Asia, instant ramen is also popular in the United States, where 2.9 billion packs are consumed annually."

Not more than the entire world combined, but a lot...and it's more than likely because of the amount of people living there.

I think almost everyone in China have eaten instant noodles at least once , so the total amount is prodigious .

I don't like instant noodles although it smells good .it can only stuff your stomach but has nothing to do with your health

In the States, a common joke about instant noodles is that they are considered "college student" food because....

1) That's all we know how to make
2) Students are a bit too lazy to make anything else
3) They are so cheap!

So, by the time we graduate from school, we can't stand the sight of a pack of ramen noodles!!!

Although they are so convenient, it is true what Connie says about them having no nutritional value. The amount of sodium in one pack alone is enough to deter most people!
