| i think most of the hotels there will charge around 10-15 usd/night at least it is not a four stars one by the way, i want to make a DIY trip in china. do i need to hand in a confirm of resevation when i apply for a visa? |

| this is becoming a popular tourist destination. As such, there are numerous hotels here of varying standard and cost. Some of these places have a 50% foreigners surcharge, but prices in many of the hotels are reasonable. |

| Do you have any recommendation of travel agency (which has website) or tour operators to arrange those tours, air tickets, and train tickets? I heard that if we purchase the air-ticket in advance, we can get discounts. Is it true? Do you have any idea of this? |
