hi!
Im going to be one week in beijing at the end of the year, i have
heard that its soo cold there! How is the new years eve in beijing? I
know its not a chinese custom, but is there something to do?
Maybe go to tian an men square?

Any advice about acommodation? Are youth hostels warm enough
for winter?

I am sure that Beijing will be colder in New Year's eve than that of the present. However all the hotels or hostels can be warm enough for you.

I think you should go to Houhai Bar street!

And it is cold in that time,maybe heavy windy,pls take more warm clothes!
