Hi California,

If you like I thought it might be useful for visitors to get first hand weather from us here on the ground. We can pretend we are presenting CCTV 9 weather and probably give a more accurate report.

Once a week or everyday depends on each member what they'd like to contribute.

Cooool thread....

Here in the North East, in little known Benxi, (but Shenyang is the same)... every day it will be:

COLD, COLD, COLD... but...... SUNNY
&
we have snow on the ground

temperatures all week will be FREEEEEEZING.
The high is -7 the low is -21 brrrrr.

You need thermals, hats, gloves and scarves. The more layers the better ;)
My flat is delicious and warm though.

Gee, I think it's cold here.

Wearing all the above mentioned and it's still not enough. But my apartment is wonderfully warm.

I also see a lot of the special little ear covers for the men. LOL rather funny!!!!

And yes we do sometimes see the sun in CQ and I celebrate each time it comes out in winter.

Very nice thread.Really helpful. Xi'an here is still sunny but cold outside. Luckily, it is not windy today.

Low = -19

Wow... it's cold today, but sunny.

I had my hands out of my gloves for about 5 minutes and I could hardly move my fingers!!!!

My advice: stay in, drink some red wine and watch a DVD :)
