Visiting Tianjin - How can I get to the Great Wall?

Hello

I've got a few days work in Tianjin and am hoping I can get up to Bejing and see the Great Wall as a day trip.

Has anyone got any ideas or recommendations on how to do this, or if it is possible?!

You may get to Beijing from Tianjin by train or bus, about 2 hours. Try to arrive Beijing in the early morning. Then get to Qian Men Bus Station. There are shuttling tourist buses ( No.1 Tourist Bus) to Badaling Great Wall and the Ming Tombs. The buses departs around every 30 minutes or so from 6:00 am to 12:00 am daily. The fare is 45 or 50, covering transportation to and back. Or you may take No.2 Tourist Bus near Beijing Railway Station.
