Any suugestions for a teacher/place to learn good taiji in Beijing - or in fact all of China? Can be Yang styl or Cheng. But not the type of teaching where you just learn appearance of movements. I want something that takes into account the emptiness/fullness of body parts, management of chi, proper breathing. There are some places that take taiji too commercially, especially when foreigners are concerned, I would like to avoid those also. I have already learned some taiji here: the yang style 24 movement, and the Cheng Style er lu.

Hi friend!

I am also on the lookout for good Taiji masters. I have heard that if you go to Chen village, you can find many good instructors. But I have my reservations too as it has now become more tourist-oriented, but it is worth a try. Another place is Mt. Wudang, but they charge exhorbitant prices.

If you come across any good instructors, please let me know. Also, if on your return trip you could visit India, you can teach Chen Taiji in our Academy.
