A place in fujian

My grandfather came from hua-heung(local hokkien for flower plantation)village and town of nam-wah or nam-uah(also hokkien dialect),I would like to ask for help namely;
1 what is the official name for the place?
2 How to get there and by what kind of transport,let us say from HK or xiamen or wherever is most convenient.
3 His surname is tan or chen.

If you came from a tan/chen descent..u should go to AMKAU..u will need to take a bus to shishi from xiamen bus station then take a cab or a trike from thre.

When in AMKAU try to locate the local registrar for ur family tree research.

my grandfather is from gua-heung=fruit plantation in local hokkien and nam-oh district,would that give you a clue?

How far is it from xiamen to shishi,maybe I have to stay overnight?

And how far from shishi to amkau.

GUESTONG My grandfather also came from Nam Wah. He told us that we are Yong Kut Ong (王), presume that is the village.
Like to visit the place.
Can you tell me where the place is locted in Fujian and how to get there from the nearest city/town?
