i want to hitch hike from shanghai to chengdu...to really see the country side and meet the people...am i mad....has anyone done it

You would either freeze to death or end up in Jail,or get hit by a passing truck bus car.Not worth the risk,take short bus trip's and take you'r time.You would probably enjoy it just as much without the risk.enjoy stevo1
