The Stone Forest of Kunming and The Pinnacles of Western Australia are similar, in the sense that they are both the works of Mother Nature.

Kunming, the capital of Yunnan Province, enjoys great fame among tourists not only because the region features a consistently warm climate, but also thanks to its wonderful vistas and landscapes. Among the most dramatic of these attractions is the Stone Forest (Shilin), known since the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644 A.D.) as the "First Wonder of the World."
The Stone Forest is in Lunan Yi Nationality Autonomous County, which is about 120 kilometers (75 miles) from Kunming and requires only a three-hour drive. It covers an area of 400 square kilometers (96,000 acres) and includes both large and small stone forests, as well as many other scenic spots. An old local saying says that "If you have visited Kunming without seeing the Stone Forest, you have wasted your time." Truly, the Stone Forest is one of the most important attractions of Yunnan.

The Pinnacles Desert is situated in the Nambung National Park it`s 250 Ks North from Perth and one of Australia's best known landscapes. Nambung National Park covers an area of 17491 ha. Here, thousands of huge limestone pillars rise from the shifting yellow sands, resembling a landscape from a science fiction movie.

The Pinnacles Desert remained relatively unknown until the late 1960s, when the Department of Lands and Surveys agreed to add the area to the already existing National park, which had been established in 1956. Today the park is visited by approximately 150,000 visitors, from all over the world, each year.

The Pinnacles Desert, is right in the heart of Nambung National Park, thousands of huge limestone pillars rise out of a stark landscape of yellow sand. In places they reach up to four metres tall. They are all shapes and sizes Some are jagged, sharp-edged columns, rising to a point; while others resemble tombstones.

I would hardly call 4 metres "huge".

I agree that Stone Forest is wonderful, and it is now designated as a World Geopark by UNESCO, noted for it's geology and with park practices dedicated to sustainable tourism and public education. I was touring China's World and National Geological parks last summer, and Stone Forest is by far the best (of the ones I saw)
