WILBEN Points: Join Date: Jul 9, 2004 Status: offline	Hi, Me and some friends are planning to go backpacking around China. Being foreign students we're trying to keep it cheap. Can anyone tell me the best/ most affordable way to get to and from the following places: 1. Xian to Sichuan (Chengdu/Jiuzhaigo) 2. Chengdu/Jiuzhaigou to Kunming 3. Kunming to Guangxi (Guilin and/or Yangshuo) 4. Guangxi to Hunan 5. Hunan to Anhui We prefer train and/or a bus. We tried looking at the train schedules online but (naturally) it was all in Chinese. -Wilben

DAISY Points: Join Date: Mar 30, 2004 Status: Offline	Take flight to Jiuzhaigou from Xian, then fly to Chengdu from Jiuzhaigou. And then follow the rest places as you listed by train. If you you have enough time, you can choose train as the main vehicle, but if you take the soft sleeper, I think the price is much of the discount airfee.
