I'm also looking for an English to Mandarin translator/local guide while in Sanya on Hainan Island Nov 2 thru Nov 12.

Hi Jane,

I saw your reply in the other post also. I am a Chinese American that is planning to visit Sanya in early Nov as well. I won't be able to be a guide since it'll be my first time there, but I can help out with any Chinese translation needed. I see you are also from Seattle (what a coincidence), that is where I am from as well.

i will be in hainan island at that time. i will arrive in september and will need to find a room or an apartment and some work. i am from new zealand but have been living in hong kong. i speak mandarin. if you already have someone, are you able to provide any info on workor accommodation???
