A nice city not more than 8 hours by train from beijing

I want to know the prices of the ticket of train and plane to the different cites of china and how to get a discounted flight and the address of any cheap tour agencies in beijing . I also want to know any sugestions about any nice city not more than 8 hour by train from beijing & thank you all for your good advices .

During the golden week,like May holiday,October Holiday,Spring Festival Holiay,there are no or less discount of the airtickets!

From Beijing,less than 8 hours,I think you can go to Shanxi province,for example Datong,Taiyuan and Pingyao.

Maybe Chengde in hebei province,Jinan and Tai shan in shandong province:-)
