Xi'an has so many awaiting for your exploration, with centuries-old history, special northern folk custom, and also many many delicious snacks!

It was the first Chinese city to open up its doors to the ancient world, not in 1980 under the Open Door policy, but in fact during the Tang dynasty.
It is the the first stop on the Silk Road. Over a period of more than 2000 years, Xi'an has been the capital for eleven dynasties. Along with Rome and Constantinople, this city was a world leader in culture and trade and played a vital role in bridging the gap between east and west.

As you ask about Xi'an and want to know about it, so I want to ask you the question above. Could you let me know? Are you a tourist here, or you come here just on a business trip?

Xi'an was ever the ancient capital of thirteen kingdoms in China. There are many historic places that you can select to visit. As it is the first time for you, I suggest you can visit them with a local tour guide. With his/her vivid description, you will have a deeper understanding about the places you will see and feel them by heart.

However, the air is ralatively dry. And it is often rain in summer. I heard yesterday that it would have much rain this July. So, before you go out, remember to take an umbrella with you. Probably, it will rain suddenly in the mid of a sunny day.

Another happy thing is that there are many delicious food you may be likely to eat. The cold noodle, the roast mutton, the chaffy dishes,etc.
