My wife and I are going to China with TCG in September. Does anybody know if I will be able to have a made to measure suit made in Shanghai for a resonable price in 3 days and whether I should bring my dinner jacket for the Captains Parties on board China Regal

Most people will dress officially for the Captain's Welcome Party, but every time there are a few people would rather dress leisurely. So, you decide which group you belong to:-). I'm not sure about your first question, there must be somewhere can do that for you, I hope someone here can offer details. Welcome to China!

Thank you Rita for your help Could you tell me what you mean by an official suit? I was thinking about a Black Dinner suit with black bow tie and white shirt. Is an official suit what we might call a lounge suit with a normal tie. Many Thanks

Yes, I think both "black dinner suit with bow tie" and "lounge suit with a normal tie" will be just fine. :P
