Have not found much details on the web therefore I would like to ask you to give recommendations on places, events and sights wher I can find a lot of red lanterns. Thnaks a lot!

I love lanterns! In Xi'an, we usually have a Lantern Show on the city wall during the Spring Festival. They are wonderful and beautiful! And we also have many food stalls on the city wall. Just like Temple Fair in Beijing, but we held it on a higher place. LoL

Yes, siva, I mean the City Wall. Most part of China will celebrate Lanterns Festival by Lanterns show or temple fairs, right?
Are there any other special custom in Lanterns Festival??

There is a custom in my beloved hometown. People no matter old or young should walk 100 steps at the night of the Lantern Festival. It is said that this can help people to cure diseases and get good health.

I do it almost every year at that time.
