Where OH where to go - any ideas?

JABAROOTOO Points: Join Date: Jul 4, 2005 Status: Offline	Thoughts on Jiuzhaigou if you're on a linmited time. Yes it is busy all the time and coming from Europe you may not find it so spectacular. I loved it and if you want to do something like horseriding you can try Songpan which is actually closer to the airport than the JJG. You can do voernight treks or day trips. Depends on your time. In Yunnan, go to Lijiang and head north to Tiger Leaping Gorge and Zongdian and even further to Deqin if you have the time. Give Dali a miss as it's very small and crowded with tourists too and you shoul be able to enjoy many similar things around Lijiang. You can hire bycicles in Lijiang and horses from the scenic spots around town and there is lots of good hiking in the mountains but would pay to have to pick up a local guide to make the most of your time, help with hiring vehicles etc.
