Thinking of taking a one way flight to Lijiang from Kunming. How much would the airfare cost? If I buy it at Kunming then which agency is better? I'll arrive at Kunming by 2.30 pm. So you think I should catch a flight to Lijiang straightaway or stay at Kunming for a few days first. To come back from Dali, I'd like to take the train. Is it easy to get the train ticket? I'd like to take the sleeper class.

RITA Points: Join Date: May 10, 2005 Status: Offline	One way airfare Kunming/ Lijiang costs CNY530 (an extra CNY10-CNY50 airport construction fee excluded) You won't miss Kunming, will you? So why not just take a few days in Kunming first when you arrive to adjust yourself? Train ticket in April will not be hard to get, but book in advance will be good.

RITA Points: Join Date: May 10, 2005 Status: Offline	I checked the train schedule, and and I didn't get information on softsleeper train fare between Dali and Kunming, maybe it's too close:-), the fastest train takes about 5.5 hours. The most expensive soft seat costs about 80 yuan (about 10us$)

SILJA Points: Join Date: Jan 22, 2005 Status: Offline	I think the best way is to stay two days in Kunming, travel stone forest and western dragon gate, and then Dali--lijiang--Lugu--Zhongdian, return from Zhongdian to Kunming by flight.
