Is it possible to travel by train from Harbin to Ulan Ude in Russia?

I would most appreciate any info from folks here who has done it, like (1) best time to travel (2) how much is the train fare and (3) duration of the train journey. Any other advise too are much appreciated. Thanks.

Yes,it is possible! But you have to take a train from Harbin to Manzhouli at first!I am not sure the fare and the duration, but from Manzhouli to Ulan Ude,It is not a long distance, and will pass Chita station!

K19 is an international train from Beijing to Moscow, maybe you can choose it!

Have a good trip!
