Shenzhen day visa

Please give advice - we will visit Shenzen in November, travelling from Hong Kong.Pete has a British passport, I have South African - is there anyway we can organise day visit visas for Shenzen before we get to Hong Kong - we live in South Africa Thank you - Meg

It is said that you can apply for a day visa at the office of Luohu Port, Shenzhen.

Shenzhen, although a special economic zone is still considered part of mainland china and should therefore require a tourist visa which should be applied for before you embark on your travels. Better to get one first, than be disappointed when you get to HK and have to wait to get one there.

Otherwise white or telephone to your respective embassies in SA and ask.
