I have been to Tibet in 2000 and it is truly a beautiful place for culture, people and sights. I love the Tibetan traditional costume very much and hope to get see even more photos of it and heard that during the New Year Tibetan would dress their best. I intend only to be in Lhasa and surroundings for about a week and was hoping to be visiting Tibetan families and see cultural events if this can be arranged? Wonder if anyone has done this before or have the connections that could share it here and other interesting places to visit during period? This would be appreciated. Will try to reach Lhasa on the 27 Feb 2006 from Beijing or Chengdu. Any info or local Lhasa contracts would be greatly appreciated too for arrangement.
