Can anyone tell me the shape of the eletrical plug used in China? Is it a ROUND tip or a FLAT tip?

I bought an AC adapter/converter with a round tip. Just want to make sure I have the correct one. Your help will be greatly appreciated!

Thank you May001 for the help! However, did you base the plugs on Guangzhou only or throughout China? For some reasons, most of the plugs sold here in the United States for China is Round ended. I did some searches online and found these plugs being use in China. I just don't know which ones I need in Guangzhou. So many information, yet don't know what I really need....

Java, yes, all of those will work somewhere in China! China has eight different types of plugs in use. (This is because China makes so many electronics for the rest of the world.) I suggest to you (and all) that if traveling to China (or most places outside of North America!) that you purchase an adapter kit set that has “220volt” and “50HZ” capability and several different types of plug types included. This investment will work in many parts of the world. I would also buy an ‘electronic surge protector’ if you are bringing your laptop. These kits are not expensive. The following link shows the most common Chinese plugs: http://www.walkabouttravelgear.com/c_china.htm
