1) rental cost in si xiang bao an (apartment)
Generally 800-1500 RMB for the apartment built by the local resident, if you want to living in a community you need to pay double or more, it depends on the location and the area of the room

2) cost per meal.
You can enjoy chinese fastfood less than 10 RMB, but I think you should not take them in a whole day, so 30-50 RMB is needed everyday.

3) transportation choices & cost
You can choose bus or taxi. You normally will pay less than 20 RMB per day for your local transportation by bus.

Autobus, minbus, taix, and the two-storied sightseeing bus can take you to any place inside the city. But I think the taxi fee is so expensive. The fare is RMB 12.5 for the first three kilometers and RMB 2.4 for each additional kilometer. ~~~~
