I was just reading on another board that several people in China thought Yunnan is a very attractive city and that more foreigners should see it. I am interested but I don't really know anything about it other than it has Lake Dian. Can someone tell me more about the sites there? ~SK~

The famous sceneries around Kunming are stone forest, Western dragon mountain, the nationality park. Here in Yunnan province, you can have a fantastic experience.

Pu Er Tea good for lowering cholesterol and can be purchased in almost any Chinese grocery store or Chinese Herb Store in any city in the USA. Try the China town areas.
Hope this helps.

Hi Shannon,
Have you read all the travel reviews? There is plenty of information in them and a general search of TCG and other sites will give you a lot of information about Yunnan Privnce which is large and diverse in culture, history, topography and climate.

If you still have some questions after all the research then please ask them. We are more than happy to help you find your way around if we can.
