 | Hi all! Xin Nian Kuai Le(Happy new year) I am moving to Shenzhen in a few weeks. and would like to know if there are any special bookstores for westerners? Are these books sold in USD or RMB?? Also, I'd like to get some books on how to teach Chinese as a second language. Any recommendation on books or bookstore I can go to? Thanks for any reply. | there are some bookstores that you can buy English version, but only a little, you better go to Hongkong to buy, coz its close, i can teach you mandarin if you like to learn. this is my email address yahoo.com.cn|colincao2002 |

| Ni Hao Nihaochina' Xin Hua bookstores are the best source of English language books and most likely the best source of Chinese teaching material too. Try thier main bookstore. You may be able to find locations by searching online or asking someone when you get to Shenzhen. I've got one calledConversational Chinese 301 'BLCU'S Best Selling Chinese Textbook For Foriegn Learners' So they state. Authors kang Yuhua and lai Siping ISBN 7-5619-0656-0 Others in thier sieries include Speak Chinese Intermediate Chinese listening and speaking Modern Chines - Beginners course ( x4) All these are bilingual with Pinyin and Characters I'm finding is useful for both reading and writing as well as speaking.
