Hi, Anyone knows the room situation & rate for dorm bed in Traffic Hotel? What about also for a standard room?

How do I come from Chengdu Airport => Traffic Hotel?

The Chengdu Traffic (1 Star) Hotel is 1-kilometer from the city center, 16-kilometers from the Airport and 4-kilometers from the railway station. It is within walking distance to the Wuhou Temple. A Lonely Planet featured hotel.
Standard Twin Room: US$24 at least

We stayed in Traffic Hotel about a month ago and the condition of our room was dark. If you want to stay there, try to book room no 1,2,3,4,5 (say for 2nd floor the room is 201, 202 as well as 3rd floor, the room is no 301, etc )which is bigger than other. The location is very nice, not to far away from Bank of China, internet cafe available and there is nice cafe in front. And if you are willing to walk, there are many shopping malls nearby.
From airport, by taxi (usually airport taxi driver refuses to use meter) the cost is around RMB 50-60.

Why not to book a good hotel with better facility than that ?

Thanks for the info.. If compare to Sam's Guest House, which is better?

Also, do they offer 2 Days, 1 Night trip to LeShan & Emei Shan? If "yes", how much is it?

How much is the dorm bed in Traffic Hotel? Is the rate incl. b/fast?

Room in Traffic Hotel is RMB 150/night include Chinese Breakfast. The breakfast is horrible & tasteless! High season surcharge is applicable.
I don't know about Sam's guesthouse, but some travellers choose that place.
We also stayed in Sim Cozy's Guesthouse - newly restored, very clean and very friendly staff. Located near Wushu (???) temple. They offer also tour to Emeishan, etc and help you arrange your trip to Tibet - if you wish so. The cost is RMB 70/night for double bed.

i think this hotel is quite stupid. expensive, bad service. and dirty too!!!!!!!!
