 | Hi everybody. I'll spend few months in Zhejiang university for a researching works, I want to know if the 600 RMB/week is enough for me to live a week in a good way, I mean 2400 RMB/month. what do you think? this salary is just for pocket money, lodging is already paid by the company... please tell me more about Hangzhou, is it a good city? which is better, Hangzhou or Harbin??? Thank you.. |

| that is to say 80/day,wow~~if you don't go to decent restaurant and pub everyday ,it is far more enough to live in a good way |

| Hangzhou is one of the top cities in China for tourists from all over the world. It will never disappoint your whenever you come to visit it. West Lake is the most famous attraction there. Wuzhen and Xitang are two very well-known old towns. Still a number of scenic spots are waiting for you in Hangzhou. :) Have a nice trip! |

| As for the question that Hangzhou and Harbin, which is better, I think it all depends on your personal interest. If you want to experience the distinctive flavor of northern China, then you can go to Harbin. It is a good place for you then. If you want to feel the real southern China, then you should go to Hangzhou, Paradise on Earth. Have a good trip! |

| 2400RMB for pocket money is enough,though Hangzhou is expensive!!! Between Hangzhou and Harin,I agree with peacock!Hangzhou as one of Heaven Cities in China,it is good!But I only like the west lake area,the others were disappointed!It is clean on facies,and dirty inside!!!Beside,I like Gui Hua!!But because it is near Shanghai,so it is easy to go everywhere! Harbin is an amazing city,I like it very much!Maybe it is too cold for you in winter! Every city has its own character,good luck! |

| for pocket money, yes that is enough. i live in beijing and even then, prices are cheap. the things that may make living more expensive are...if u need western food on a daily basis, and...well, i think that's about it! |

| thank you Rita, hope that will be a good experience since this is the first time I'll visit china.. and hope to get some friends in Hangzhou before getting there, 'cause it's not easy to adapt a new life even for few months without some friends or company..... |
